Tokyo is a global city: It is one of the most populated places in the world with 9.6 million inhabitants and the main centre for industry, trade, education and culture in Japan.

Also it is a city of contrasts. The mixture of tradition and high tech is remarkable, so there you can find an old temple next to a tower block. Additionally, the seat of the Japanese government and the imperial palace is in Tokyo. Following, they have the oldest hereditary monarchy in the world.

This year, the WorldMUN delegation of the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena travel to Tokyo from March 16. to March 20. Six students have the opportunity to be part of these delegate experience and will working on their negation strategies and holding a lot of speeches.

During the 29th Model United Nations they will represent Eritrea in different Committees: Human Rights Council, Arab League, Commission on the Status of Women. In this year, one delegate take part in a Crisis Committee, the Cabinet of Salvador Allende.
